Some groups play music. And then there is La Almeta, who awaken it. With their new album, O esprito d’o lugar (The spirit of the place), the veteran Aragonese folk ensemble once again opens the door to a universe of ancient melodies, voices that come from afar, and rhythms that have accompanied entire communities.
Their repertoire, full of traditional Aragonese and European songs, pulses with the contagious joy that has always defined the group: that way of being on stage that turns every concert into a gathering, into a celebration without hesitation.
On Saturday, October 3rd, at 7 p.m., at the Centro Cívico Delicias in Zaragoza, they will present this new work. It promises to be an evening impossible to experience from a chair: La Almeta has the gift of turning music into movement.
