Chabier Crespo and Fernando Ariza, Aragonese diatonic accordionists, have developed a method for this instrument that also includes information on its uses and history in Aragon, as well as performers and repertoire. A much-needed work for enthusiasts of the diatonic accordion, a very popular instrument among bagpipers and traditional musicians in Aragon.
Chabier Crespo is an Aragonese diatonic accordionist who has been part of several traditional music groups such as Mallacán, Lobaparda, Venambre, and Los Jaques de la Sierra. Fernando Ariza has played in groups such as Zarrakatralla Folk and Somerondón, and is a member of La Almeta. In 2018, he released a solo album, Algairén.
You can attend the presentation of this book on May 9 at 6:30 PM at Sala Venecia in Zaragoza (Torrero district), as part of the program of events of the 15th Diatonic Accordionists Gathering.
