Once again, Castelló is getting ready to host the Festival of Dances of the Former Crown of Aragon, a celebration that fills the city with music, tradition, and a spirit of togetherness. For three days, folk groups from the historic territories of the Crown —along with guest ensembles from various regions— will bring energy and colour to the Plaça Major.
The performances will take place on May 8th, 9th, and 10th, turning the heart of Castelló into a meeting place where popular culture shines once more.
The official poster for the 2026 Festival is inspired by a gesture as simple as it is universal: the circle. A symbol of community, belonging, and the tradition passed down from generation to generation, always alive and in motion.
We are already warming up for this 41st edition, with the same excitement to dance together again. We look forward to seeing you, arms open and feet ready for the rhythm.
