Art has roots, and rarely are they revealed with such strength and beauty as in Savia. Miguel Ángel Berna, master of Aragonese dance, invites us on a sensory journey where the olive tree—symbol of life, memory, and belonging—becomes the protagonist of a unique stage fantasy.
Together with the music of Pilar Almalé and the percussion of Josué Barrés, this work is an intimate dialogue between dance, music, and poetry. Savia sinks its roots into Aragonese folklore, reviving traditional melodies and dances—some forgotten, others reinvented—all transformed through a contemporary gaze that keeps them alive.
The show is a hymn to territory and identity, an exploration of the spiritual and the symbolic through the tree and its sap, reminding us that tradition is not the past, but a present in constant motion.
An artistic luxury that invites us to feel, listen, and contemplate the strength of Aragón on stage.
