The town of Leciñena is preparing to host a new edition of the Los Monegros Dance Gathering, an event that will bring together representatives from some of the most emblematic groups of this ancestral tradition.
Since its first edition in 2022, held in Sariñena, this gathering has grown steadily with a strong sense of continuity, establishing itself as a space for celebration, meeting, and cultural pride.
The dances of Los Monegros preserve some of the most beautiful melodies of Aragonese folklore. Their survival would not be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of the people of the region, who, generation after generation, keep this unique expression of identity alive. The dances of Sena and Sariñena stand out in particular, having been recognized as Festivals of Tourist Interest by the Government of Aragon.
The event will take place on April 18, 2026, starting at 10:15 a.m., and promises to be a day full of music, tradition, and emotion.
