The traditional Aragonese folklore group Xinglar celebrates 36 years of studying, disseminating and enriching the traditional music and dances of Aragon. Xinglar was one of the pioneer groups in expanding the traditional format of the recreational jota festival with educational demonstrations of popular dances and songs extracted from our musical tradition. Xinglar created a show format that moved away from folk dance to introduce, with educational sessions complemented by clothing and popular dance workshops, the authentic folklore inherited from our tradition.
Xinglar celebrates these 36 years with an Aragonese mass and an anniversary party in which we will have the opportunity to share with them their work and experience accumulated over so long. A great opportunity to enjoy our most authentic folklore.
The mass will take place on April 23, 2025 at 12 p.m., and the party will be that same day at 6 p.m., at the Almozara Civic Center in Zaragoza.
