The traditional Aragonese folklore group Xinglar celebrates 35 years of studying, disseminating and enriching the traditional music and dances of Aragon. Xinglar was one of the pioneer groups in expanding the traditional format of the recreational jota festival with educational demonstrations of popular dances and songs extracted from our musical tradition. Xinglar created a show format that moved away from folk dance to introduce, with educational sessions complemented by clothing and popular dance workshops, the authentic folklore inherited from our tradition.
Xinglar celebrates these 35 years with two performances and a photographic exhibition in which we will have the opportunity to share with them their work and experience accumulated over so long. A great opportunity to enjoy our most authentic folklore.
The performances will take place on April 30, 2024 at 7 p.m., and on May 1, 2024 at 6 p.m., at the Delicias Civic Center in Zaragoza. The photographic exhibition can be visited from April 16 to 30, 2024.
