The Conference is an educational concert, an exhibition with live music, a conference, really, but with an innovative format that takes us, hand in hand with the Hevia brothers, Asturian pipers, through the life and work carried out by traditional Asturian musicians .
This project presented by José Angel and María José Hevia combines the audiovisual format with live music to reproduce the sound and context of the popular music groups of the 20th century, from the pipers and tamboriteros (drummers) to the great bagpipe bands that of their traditional instruments animated the popular festivities.
The Conference takes us to the Asturias of the 20th century and illustrates, through extensive audiovisual documentation and the living example of the speakers, the importance of popular musicians at the time. An exhibition that also sheds light on the work of these musicians in Aragón and in so many other territories, work that is still not well known.
The concert The Conference will take place at the Marín Theater in Teruel, on December 10, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
