The Asoziazión Cultural Bente d’Abiento, of Zaragoza, organizes one more year the classic Meeting of Aragonesa Bagpipers L’Almozara Folk. In this edition the meeting is presented as a tribute to the Banda of Aragonese Bagpipes, which this 2019 celebrates its tenth anniversary.
The Meeting of Aragonesa Bagpipers abandons the classic contest format to offer the stage to this band and other Aragonese groups with large format based on instruments and repertoire of the Aragonese tradition.
In addition, in this 13th Trobada will present the fifth book of the collection Nuevas Tonadas, which includes compositions by Rafael García and Sergi Llena, and will also be a memory for the piper Pepe Relancio, who passed away very recently.
The meeting will be held, as usual, at the Civic Center La Almozara, Zaragoza, and will take place on May 25, 2019 at 18 hours.
