From June 28 to 30, 2019 there will be the celebration of the Compromiso de Caspe, a festivity declared of Tourist Interest in Aragon and commemorating the proclamation of Fernando I as King of Aragon, in the Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor.
The celebration consists of a popular theatrical performance whose stage is the streets, conveniently adorned, of the city, recreating the atmosphere of the time. During the three days of the celebration, the streets are filled with craft markets, music, theater and children’s activities.
This year the celebration of the Commitment has the participation of Almogávares de Caspe, La Ringlera, Dorondaina, Al Folk, Grimorium-Turdión and Octava Milla, who will take part in various parades. In addition, on Friday night will perform Mosicaires, in the Plaza del Compromiso at 22.40 hours, and La Ronda de Boltaña, in the Plaza de España, at 23:15.
