Their approach is characterized by reinterpreting folk music and bringing it closer to contemporary audiences without losing its essence or educational value.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4694\" data-end=\"5073\">The new album, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em data-start=\"4709\" data-end=\"4737\">De palos, cintas y espadas<\/em>,<\/strong><\/span> delves into Aragonese festive music and the traditional dances that have accompanied celebrations in streets and squares. The repertoire explores dance genres from the bagpipers\u2019 tradition, from street parades to <em data-start=\"4952\" data-end=\"4962\">paloteao<\/em> dance variations, performed with the rich and varied instrumentation that defines the group\u2019s interpretations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5075\" data-end=\"5363\">The work stands out for its use of traditional instruments such as the dulzaina, the gaita de boto, the hurdy-gurdy, and the accordion, combined with folk percussion made from spoons, pans, bones, and other everyday objects, evoking the spontaneous and festive atmosphere of old <em data-start=\"5354\" data-end=\"5362\">bureos<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5365\" data-end=\"5574\">Conceived as both an album and a performance, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em data-start=\"5411\" data-end=\"5439\">De palos, cintas y espadas<\/em><\/strong><\/span> offers an imaginary journey through Aragon\u2019s festive music, recovering melodies and rhythms passed down #008000;\"><strong>Adri\u00e1n Gil<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 bagpipe and dulzaina<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5838\" data-end=\"5980\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Dulzaineros del Bajo Arag\u00f3n<\/strong><\/span> will present its new album on <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>May 9, 2026,<\/strong><\/span> at <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>5:30 PM<\/strong><\/span>
