{"id":5876,"date":"2022-12-29T08:48:01","date_gmt":"2022-12-29T07:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arafolk.net\/?p=5876"},"modified":"2022-12-29T09:03:45","modified_gmt":"2022-12-29T08:03:45","slug":"concierto-de-ocarolan-5-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arafolk.net\/gb\/2022\/12\/29\/concierto-de-ocarolan-5-2\/","title":{"rendered":"O&#8217;Carolan Christmas concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A classic of the Christmas parties is the end-of-year concert by the <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>O&#8217;Carolan<\/strong><\/span> group, which will offer us its kaleidoscope of sound in one of its favorite settings, <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>El Coraz\u00f3n Verde,<\/strong><\/span> on <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>December 30<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0at <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>9:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The folk group\u00a0<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>O\u2019Carolan<\/strong><\/span> was born from the repertoire created by the Irish musician <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Turlough O\u00b4Carolan,<\/strong><\/span> author of numerous pieces for harp based on the Irish musical tradition, and many of which are still performed today.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by his work and In the sounds of traditional music from various parts of Europe, <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">O\u2019Carolan<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>recorded his first three albums, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em>Alrededor de una vela<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>La llave de los sue\u00f1os<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em>El reloj secreto.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>His fourth album, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em><strong>Nota de paso,<\/strong><\/em><\/span> was a look at the traditional music of Aragon with the Celtic optics that permeated his previous works.
